The Winter Blackout gloves by Under Armour are a great cold weather glove that is perfect for on duty, off duty or tactical situations. Made from an insulated synthetic leather and neoprene mesh, the Winter Blackout gloves offers a comfortable fit while being secured using a Velcro enclosure. Combine that with it’s printed silicone hand grip and you have one of the best all around winter gloves available. Under Armour created a winner with their Winter Blackout gloves.
On Duty Gear’s 25 Gift Ideas for Christmas
As part of our 25 Gift Ideas for Christmas promotion, we are going to be posting a new gift idea for your favorite police officer, fire fighter, EMT or military service member each day starting from Black Friday (November 23rd) through December 17th.
The Under Armour Tactical Combat Glove really impressed us at the 2012 SHOT Show. It is a fitted glove that can be worn in the summer or winter, and give a great grip with the clarino lined palm. With the popular Under Armour Blackout gloves being discontinued, this will be the best Under Armor option for an all-weather police or tactical glove.
The UA Combat Glove will be released at the end of February 2012.
Combat Glove Features
Tactical gloves feature a Clarino® synthetic palm that’s stronger, lighter, washable, and retains its softness when wet, unlike natural leather
Elastic and velcro wrist closure ensures a comfortable fit
Strategic cushioning on the palm, knuckle and hand provides extra protection
Paul just met with Bill Hatch, the original founder of Hatch Glove and who is now the owner/founder of HWI Gear. They have some great items coming out for 2012, including the launch later this year of a fast roping glove and a K9 glove. New and available now is the LWG long gauntlet winter glove which ends just past the wrist and is not too bulky. It shows a lot of promise as a winter glove. Also available soon will be an impact training suit.
