Danner Footwear Updated with Tektite, Melee, DFA and Kinetic

We just updated our Danner footwear line, adding all of their newest styles along with their Hiking, Hunting and Work boots.

Here is a breakdown of some of their new styles:

Danner Tektite Work Boot / Sneaker Hybrid

Danner approached the Tektite design as a challenge to find synergy between the fit of a sneaker and the strength of a work boot. Their realization came in two forms; the lightweight EXO® platform design and the lightweight, highly breathable and abrasion resistant strength of Superfabric®.

Challenging themselves to craft a boot with the lightweight performance of a sneaker, Danner developed the unique EXO platform system and wrapped it in thermoplastic polyurethane for durability and extra comfort. Integrated with our DT4 last, the Tektite provides a highly responsive, low profile athletic fit.

Understanding the need to develop a unity between strength and breathability, Danner engineered a way to craft the boot upper out of a Super Fabric® material which provides extreme abrasion resistant strength in a highly breathable form and then lined it with GORE-TEX® XCR which was engineered for added comfort and breathability while providing the same waterproof protection.

Danner Melee Tactical Boot

Danner’s lightest and most flexible tactical boot, the Melee features a unique outsole design. Their unique Melee outsole is constructed with a 360˚ pentagonal low lug pattern for grip in all directions, a rugged outer lug pattern with molded siping that disperses water and provides maximum surface contact and Danner’s patent pending VIA technology which provides a V-4 abrasion rubber compound in the medial side arch for fast roping control.

Danner DFA Tactical Boots with Descender Outsole

Designed as a vertical assault weapon, the Danner Flight Assault (DFA) features low oil content nubuc leather, a lightweight 1000 Denier nylon upper, a hexagonal low lug outsole with a patent pending Vertical Insertion Arrestor (VIA) technology insert which provides abrasion resistance and superior control in fast roping applications.

• Highly durable, moisture-wicking spacer mesh lining offers breathable comfort in a non-waterproof package
• Durable, low oil Nubuc leather designed for the demands of fast roping combined with rugged 1000 Denier nylon upper for lightweight comfort and mobility

Danner Kinetic Uniform Boots

Take our toughest full-grain leather and rip stop nylon, add Ultralon footbeds and deeply cushioned midsoles, and you’ve got the Danner Kinetic™. It’s tough on the outside, soft on the inside, and thanks to its lightweight build, it’s incredibly agile and responsive. The convenient side zipper for easy entry and exit is now an added bonus.

• Highly durable, moisture-wicking spacer mesh lining offers breathable comfort in a non-waterproof package
• Durable full-grain leather can be easily polished and is preferred by those in uniform and on special tactical teams due to its durability and ability to be cleaned quickly. Rip stop ballistic nylon adds lightweight breathability and abrasion resistance.
