The EOTech XPS2 holographic sight is smaller and lighter than the other HWS sights and run on a single lithium 123 battery. Using it’s single battery configuration, it allows more rail space on your weapon for rear iron sights, magnifiers or night vision mounts. Smaller, lighter and always fast; the XPS series is a great compact option for your platform.

EOTech’s most popular holographic sight, 512.A65 is great for agencies and tactical teams that want the best speed and versatility in close quarters combat. Uses AA sized batteries in lithium or alkaline and comes in black and two styles ofcamouflage.

Standardized by the DEA, ATF, and FBI SWAT, the Model 552 is by far the most popular HWS model for military application. This night vision compatible, AA battery model is the sight of choice by military units like Stryker Brigade, 10th Mountain, and 3rd Infantry. It is battle proven to withstand the abuse that any harsh environment, high powered weapon platform, or military mission can dish out.

The517.A65 wasdeveloped to optimize the functionality of the HWS. The buttons have been moved from the back to the left side for instant access, allowing a magnifier or a back up iron sight to fit closely to the HWS body. This new button position allows the user to operate the HWS function switches easier than ever before. Additionally, a portion of the front base has been raised to allow the sight to fit over standard hand guards found on many M-4 or M-16 style weapons. Runs off of lithium or alkaline AA batteries.

Offering true 2 eyes open shooting, a transversly mounted lithium 123 battery, and 7 mm raised base offering iron sight access, the newEXPS2 features easy to adjust side buttons and an adjustable, locking, quick detach lever for easy attachment and removal. The reticle is a65MOAcircle with 1 or 2 MOA aiming dots and it comes in black or tan.

To capitalize on the current zombie craze,EOTechhas expedited the development of a Zombie HWS in time to introduce at the upcoming SHOT show. This model code is XPS2-Z and includes a unique bio-hazard reticle pattern that still offers the 65MOA ring and 1MOA aiming dot. In addition, a custom laser engraved hood showing the reticle pattern on the top and Zombie Stopper on the side should catch some looks.

We got some pics of the new Reaper Z and their .300 Blackout / Whisper Zero at the SHOT Show Range Day. The EOTech Reaper Z looks to be a rebranded version of the Zombie Stopper, at least from the look we got of it. The .300 Blackout / Whisper (XPS2-300) has a 2-dot ballistic drop reticle that allows the shooter to zero either subsonic or supersonic rounds. It is also the shortest and lightest of EOTech’s holographic sights to date.

We are meeting with EOTech tomorrow and will get some more of the technical information for both holographic sights.

Our EOTech rep just stopped into our shop and brought a Zombie Stopper with him. The Zombie Stopper is an EOTech XPS2, but with a biohazard reticle and branding. For more information one the EOTech Zombie Stopper, check out our earlier post here:

We are hearing a rumor that EOTech is going to be coming out with a new Zombie Stopper model at the 2013 SHOT Show with a Reaper Z Pattern. Love it or hate it, the Zombie Stopper was one of the most popular items from the 2012 SHOT Show. We aren’t sure yet of how the Reaper Z is going to be featured as part of the holographic reticle or design, since it doesn’t match a dot configuration as far as we can tell.

This is what we currently know about the EOTech Zombie Stopper II:

• Zombie HWS
• Single CR123 battery
• Biohazard reticle with 65MOA ring and 1MOA dot (Reaper Z pattern)

Doing some Google searches for Reaper Z, it seems like this graphic below is what it is based on. It could be just the biohazard part that makes up the reticle, but we don’t have any more info that what is above so far. We will keep our blog updated as we get more information.

All pre-orders for the EOTech XPS2-Z Zombie Stopper Holographic Sights will be shipping out tomorrow and will be mounted on your weapon shortly, ready to aim it’s biohazard reticle on the forehead of potential zombies.

And it can’t come soon enough, with all the crazy zombie-style carnage we’ve been reading about in the news lately.
