How good is this holster-does it hold up for long periods of use??
Great question; the BlackHawk Sportster CQC Holster will withstand years of use. There are several guys here that have had their Serpas going on 4 years now.

This holster does not indicate if the holster is for right hand only or does it for left handed also?
The BlackHawk Angle Adjustable holster is made in both left and right handed versions. To order, choose the finish first, then the draw, then the weapon type.

Will my XDM 3.8" .45 fit this holster?
Unfortunately, they do not offer a fit for that weapon at this time. Keep checking back in as we update our holsters throughout the year as new fits are released.

No; this is an unlined holster.

Is the paddle plastic or leather?
It is a laminated paddle with leather on the body side for comfort and a rubberized and textured coating on the other for maximum grip on the waistband.

Unfortunately, no. However, Galco does have that fit in a similar holster-The Galco PLE Unlined Paddle Holster.
